It has enhanced appreciation of TBA services, and boosted the willingness of the municipality authority and community committees to provide support and supervision. Shared results have been used to initiate advocacy for recognition of TBAs' role and their relationship to the formal health system. Results have provided an opportunity for informed dialogue within CWI on the continued role and relevance of TBAs in the promotion of maternal and child health. |
