What's new in SUSPRO1.1:

There was slight adjustment of the strategic areas, based on feedback

The indicator database is much larger now and based on a number of standard tools

The indicator database is now in printable form in the program itself under the reports menu

The algorithm for handling categorical (scale) data is slightly modified and more accurate

Note to SUSPRO1.0 users: There is no way to save your old data in SUSPRO1.0 if you download and use SUSPRO1.1. You will have to uninstall SUSPRO1.0 and install SUSPRO1.1 afterwards.

 

SusPro is a computer based program designed to help project managers with sustainability planning, and monitoring and evaluation of their projects. SusPro is based on the Child Survival Sustainability Assessment (CSSA) framework and is designed to measure and present sustainability data for community-centered health programming.

Please start by clicking on the Download SUSPRO.ZIP link and when prompted, SAVE the file to a temporary location on your computer. There are three files included in the downloadable SUSPRO.ZIP archive.

NOTE: You will need the WinZip utility to extract files from the zip archives. If you do not have WinZIP, you can download it directly from the link provided at the bottom of this page.

           

A. SUSPRO.ZIP  

 

1. SUSPRO_README.DOC – These are the instructions for installing SUSPRO and related files onto your computer. You should open this file and read it first.

 

2. SUSPRO.MSI – This is the installation package for SUSPRO. By double clicking on this file you will install the program onto your machine. You will be prompted for an install location and should use the defaults provided by the program. During the installation you may see a message that certain system files are needed to complete the installation.  Specifically you may see a message requiring the .NET framework and a link to download the file DOTNET.ZIP. Follow the instructions provided in case you see this message.  You can also download the DOTNET.ZIP file directly from the link provided below and then unzip it with WinZip. Within SusPro is a Help function to explain each of the screens. The entire Help file is a User Manual, explaining the Child Survival Sustainability Assessment (CSSA) framework and SusPro which can be printed out for reference while using the program.

If you have received a message that you are missing the .NET framework, then you should download this file from the ‘Download DOTNET.ZIP’ link and extract it with WinZip. The extracted file is called DOTNETFX.EXE Please run this executable file before installing SusPro.

 

C. WINZIP UTILITY

 

If you do not already have this utility, you will need to get it, to extract SUSPRO.ZIP and DOTNET.ZIP.
