CSHGP Technical Development Meeting |
|
June 2-4, 2008
Johns Hopkins University School for Advanced International Studies
|
|
The first CSHGP Technical Development Meeting was held at Johns Hopkins University School for Advanced International Studies
in Washington D.C., from June 2-4, 2008. Participants included representatives from PVO headquarters and field sites, USAID
staff, and the CA community. Field staff included PVO project managers and representatives from local partner organizations.
This event is designed to focus on strategic intervention areas where grantees excel and can be leaders in the field. It
also provided opportunities for dialogue on cross-cutting issues such as operational research, monitoring and evaluation,
behavior change, and sustainability planning.
Through the Technical Development Meeting, we seek to provide:
- A forum through which CSHGP Grantees can showcase the strong results of their projects.
- A mechanism for developing new and stronger partnerships between CSHGP grantees and key implementing partners
of USAID's Bureau for Global Health.
- An opportunity to strengthen skills in a variety of important technical and management areas that make a difference
to CSHGP projects.
-
An opportunity for grantees to provide insight into the future directions of CSHGP as a whole.
